Our Family!!! :):)

WOW, jetlag is killer. We sleep all day and awake all night! We have been putting the boys to bed about normal time and Rylan has been waking up about 2 hours later ready to roll. He says, "that was a good nap"...... except its 12:30 at night! We feed him and wait around for about 3 hours and finally get back to sleep by 3:30 or 4 AM!!! Needless to say, Ry and I have been taking benadryl to fall back to sleep by 3:30 or 4 while Andy and Rydge have been sawing logs for a few hours already. We all sleep until about 1pm, Rydge has been sleeping 11-12 hours straight through. In the evening around 7:30, we head out to the mall to walk off some energy and back home by 1opm. Its now 11 and no one seems a bit tired. Ug....I have to be ready for work by Sunday, so maybe tonight, it will turn around, we hope! If we can just get to bed a few hours earlier each night, I should be ready by Sunday!! Anyway, all is good, quite hot here though! We dont go out much during the day, only at night. The kids rode their bikes for 20 mins tonight and they were hot and ready to come in. They need some outdoor time though. We found a new villa and I think it will be perfect for us, just the space we need. With Ramadan ending, most things are closed for celebration of EID and we can not get the paperwork we need for the new place. i should be able to do that on Sunday and hope we can move by Tuesday or Wednesday! Yippee!! Well, I will say bye for now. All is good other than our sleeping schedule. It will get better.

We are back in Abu Dhabi for year 2! We hope it goes as well as year 1. Andy was laid off from his job prior to us coming home, so we hope he finds something so we can continue to pay off our house(our goal....that is a big reason why we are here) We want to be able to enjoy our house and as you know, with a new home, comes a 30 year mortgage....we dont want that. So...we are sacrificing our family in the states to make our lives better in the future. We made great strides this past year and hope that year two is twice as good! :) We are happy here, safe and have settled well. Enjoy the pictures from our summer home...we have tons more I will add later. The kids had ample time with all their grandparents, of course they loved the farm the most, due to all the different things they could do and they could really be unsupervised, which is what they really missed this passed year(so did I!) I had to watch their every move here with the traffic so close by. Rylan enjoyed time with his Papa Mac on the river one day fishing and driving the boat---ALL BY HIMSELF and Rydge loved to go to Granny's and ride the pedal tractors and bikes. They also played in the mud at Granny's too. Big Grandma played cards with Rylan and she waited each morning for Rydge to come down to rock after a good nights sleep. He loved to sit on Big Grandma's lap!!! They are both cuddle bugs!!

Anyway, we are glad to be back and in our home. We plan to move soon, we just have to find the perfect place! We hope to do that in the next few days! We wished we could have seen more friends and family while home, but it was a pretty stressful trip and we just didnt get everything done! We hope everyone stays healthy and see you next summer!
Abby and gang.

Rylan got to drive his papas Farmall tractor in the parade, that was a proud moment for him. That was #1 on his list of things that were SO F-U-N this summer! They also pulled a float and it won best entry in the parade, so they both got blue ribbons that day. It was fun for them! :)
